The word of the day "sea sick"
This is our room we had a window to the Promenade
and we faced that long hall, both directions long halls.
We aren't usually messy the room photos were taken as we packed up to leave.
floor 11. I kept a little journal from Daphanies diary. It had cute little squares to just put a brief comment in. This was helpful for centering my thoughts. I put drawing and comments about our trip.
"Swimming Pools on Ships have waves too"
Journal:
" Shock! The Ocean Moves"
The pools spent most the time closed. The last
two days they emptied them. HUM.
Hot tubs were always in use... he he wimps
it wasn't cold!
Getting lost around the ship is frustrating so you try to master it right away!
The front of the ship is the Bow (Forward)
The back of the ship is the Stern (Aft)
The right side of the ship is Starboard (looking forward)
The left side of the ship is port.
If we are all good on that we can find our way around
Each floor had this map and another one with a touch screen helping you find places. |
This is the Promenade during the day, our room is half way down 7th floor up |
This is the Promenade in the evening. |
The Promenade from our room during a parade. |
When you are cruising all day you dress up for evening dinner time.
It gives you time to get ready to look spiffy.
How do we know this?
Every evening Daily Planner for the next day was
placed on our bed.
There are four pages, the front just a dash of everything you need
to know. The middle is more info about shows, talks and places to eat.
The back is my favorite! It has an hour by hour list of everything happening,
Cindy and I had our copy always with us just in case something neat was happening.
I enjoyed eating in the dining room.
One of the fun things we did today was attend the Ice Skating show
We had to get creative to attend all four of us.
Even though we asked for our group to be bridged
they didn't do that with our show times.
So I went with Jim on his card
and Phil went with Cindy on her card
We had a nice laugh over it.
